How to Start a Group or Club
There are many options for starting a robotics club at your school or for a group of children in your community. I'll be posting descriptions and links to different programs here. I don't necessarily endorse any of these programs, so do your research before using any of these programs.
Wonder League
The Wonder League is a worldwide community of clubs inspiring the creators of tomorrow through robotics and coding. Every year, clubs participate in the Wonder League Robotics Competition, where they design solutions to real-world science and technology challenges. Children will develop problem solving and creativity skills, learn about issues facing the world around them, and build meaningful relationships with their peers.
The company does charge a fee to start a club, but you get robots and supplies, as well as support to get the club going. Their website says that experience isn't necessary to start and manage a club. Link: https://clubs.makewonder.com/ |
